As a new feature this summer 2020, we are launching "Solomon’s knot", a workshop in which children will be able to create a mosaic of coloured tesserae with this decorative motif used by ancient cultures.
The rest are workshops that we have held on other occasions and have had a high demand, such as "Aroma Laboratory", in which the attendees know some ingredients of the perfumes of Antiquity and make their own recipe; the workshop "Iberian pottery decoration", they know the symbolism used by this culture and make their own design of hand-painted pottery or the workshop "Roman coins", in which they make replicas of some coins that appeared in the excavations of our municipality.
The workshops last 1 hour and 30 minutes and cost 3 euros. We recommend attendance from 5 years onwards. In order to guarantee the necessary distance and to accomplish with the safety measures, this year the capacity will be very limited, so we recommend booking on 628 99 31 75 and the use of a mask will be compulsory.
If you come with your family to the museum you can also ask for the booklet of the exhibition Esclavxs de la belleza at the entrance and complete it together.
We also remind you that Vilamuseu offers guided tours from Tuesday to Friday mornings "a la carte", that is, you can choose the exhibition you are most interested in at 10.30 and 11.30 a.m. and at 1 p.m. at the La Barbera dela Aragonés House Museum. On Thursday and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings we have guided tour schedules for each exhibition. You can consult them on our website.
