Felip Baldó: “Europe’s children” (“Chicken Half”)

This painter, illustrator and teacher of drawing in several Valencian institutions, lived in Godella at the time when he had a strong relationship with his native city. In 2019 Vilamuseu housed a tribute exhibition entitled "Felip Baldó. La mirada transparente" a compendium of his pictorial work - with his fascination for the old world and the "sleeping goddesses", amongst other topics, and a selection of drawings from his important aspect as illustrator for infants' and youngsters' literature (such as the book El trencall del maror), an emotional journey through his infancy and the popular traditions of La Vila and district).
