Head of a ceramic sculpture of a young beardless Greek with curly hair. This look became fashionable after Alexander the Great in the fourth century BC. He wears a pileus, which is a felt or leather short-brimmed hat.
This type of terracotta is known as a "Boeotian shepherd". It can be dated between 350 and 325 BC. It was found in a probable temple from the 5th and 4th c. BC found in Plaza de la Iglesia nr. 4 of Villajoyosa.
