The Board of the Design for All Foundation has informed the City Council that Vilamuseu, the Municipal Network of Museums and Monuments of Villajoyosa, has been selected as one of the International Good Practices 2017 recognized by the Foundation, which means obtaining the corresponding diploma, as well as the dissemination of the Vilamuseu project on the web and International Networks of the Design for All Foundation, media and social networks (see http://designforall.org/), its inclusion as a reference material in the Foundation’s Media Library, the right to use the official Good Practice logo in all its activities and its candidacy for the 2018 International Awards.
Design for All is the intervention on environments, products and services with the aim that all people, including future generations, regardless of age, gender, abilities or cultural background, can enjoy participating in the construction of our society under equal conditions. This recognition highlights the effort of the City of Villajoyosa to provide a network of museums and monuments designed in an accessible and inclusive way.
