Vilamuseu reopens its doors guaranteeing the safety of visitors

From 19th of May, Vilamuseu reopens its doors with adaptations based on the Plan for the transition to a New Normality of the Ministry of Health that guarantee the safety of visitors and workers to return to enjoy the museum, as well as the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

The maximum capacity of the museum will be reduced to a third of the usual number to ensure the safety distance in circulation areas and exhibition areas. Entrance will be free for everyone as a promotion while the free proposal is being processed in the months of May and June, as a social measure and pending the implementation of payment by credit card, to avoid paying in cash. he use of masks will be obligatory for access to the museum and there will be a hydro-alcoholic sanitiser for the hands in all floors, among other measures.

For the moment, the visits will be individual or in a family group of less than 10 people, respecting the security distance of 2 meters. Soon we will inform about the resumption of guided tours and other activities. The Barbera dels Aragonés House Museum will be open to the public in the future, when the next stages of de-escalation can be completed.

Temporarily it will not be possible to use sensory resources such as aroma dispensers or tactile pieces according to the ministerial order SND/399/2020 of May 9th, but we hope to be able to standardize their use shortly with the necessary protective measures.

With all these actions and the new access rules that will be given at the entrance, Vilamuseu becomes a safe museum for visitors and workers. It will gradually be adapted to the de-escalation process.
